Unlike stocks, crypto is decentralized and not backed by traditional financial institutions. Crypto is a digital form of payment. That means more freedom but also more risk. But it’s becoming more accepted, with crypto ETFs now available on major platforms.

Think of it like the mail: Sending a letter is part of a government institution.

Or you could send an e-mail - government-free.

Stablecoins are digital currencies tied to assets like the U.S. dollar or gold.

It's a derivative of cash - in some places it is an acceptable form of payment because it can be "traded" out for cash.
