Stock Market Breakdown: IBM, Home Depot & Darden Trade Strategies

I had the privilege of joining The Big 3 segment on Schwab Network yesterday (June 24, 2025) live from the Chicago studio to dive into three standout stocks:
Home Depot (HD), IBM, and Darden Restaurants (DRI).

IBM continues to take advantage of tech trends - including AI. They are in a quiet storm - its been going higher and higher and we love a big uptrend. Based on the cup and handle trend, it could indicate its going to continue to run higher.  I outlined a potential call strategy with them. 

Next, lets look at Home Depot (HD). Its a technical play that seems to have found its support right here, right now. I also am looking to diversify my portfolio - I do not want to be 100% in tech sectors. So this stock is in a different sector and has a nice low-risk entry point. 

Finally, Darden. Consumers are back at the table, and Darden’s brands (like Olive Garden and LongHorn) are benefiting big time. Its been in an uptrend since 2020, and I believe it can continue. 

The best way to gain the best entry and exit points is to know how to read the chart.
