Are you constantly looking for new ways to secure your future and make some extra money? And then when you do find something, it just doesn't work with your lifestyle. In this episode, I am joined with Power Trades University member, Keshawna, who not only is in the navy, but doubles as a stock and options trader. We go over the importance of tuning out the noise around us when jumping into the stock market and learning to focus on our own story, at our own pace. Whether you are in the navy, a stay at home parent, work a 9-5 office job, or are just someone looking for a side gig, this episode proves that anyone can get into the stock market.

Keshawna's introduction to the stock market is one that touched close to home. In fact, it was actually in my hometown church. While at church, she heard that not only does her pasture trade options in the stock market, but he also brought in myself to speak about opportunities stock options can bring. As I really honed in on during a previous episode of the podcast, "God wants you to be rich." He wants you to be able to do good and give back. What better place to give that money to than those who support positive things. 

Juggling a career in the navy and exploring stock trading may seem intimidating, but Keshawna proves how seamlessly anyone can do it. The flexibility of stock trading allows service members to engage in financial markets regardless of where they are based. The only essentials are a laptop, a reliable internet connection, and the willingness to learn.

She highlights the power of having the stock market as a secondary income stream. Many service members face job location uncertainties, making it hard to sustain traditional civilian occupations. Investing in the stock market provides a viable financial alternative that can be managed on the go.

Keshawna chose to rejoin our community because of the genuine and passionate drive she felt from our teachings. From a fellow service personnel, Keshawna's advice to not only women, but also service members is to leverage the educational opportunities available during service to prepare for a financially secure future. The transition from military to civilian life can be significantly eased by understanding and investing in the stock market. The notion of securing another financial “bag” before transitioning out of service is both wise and empowering.
