Market at All-Time Highs:
Next Steps

The S&P 500 just hit new highs. The Dow is close behind. What does that mean for you and your investing future?

I sat down with Bre at the Fox 2 news station here in Detroit to discuss this and many more important questions.

Whether the market’s up or down, my rule stays the same: don’t panic. Long-term investors win by staying calm and staying in. If you didn’t bail when things dipped, you’re likely ahead now.

Why the Market’s Climbing

There's a few main reasons why the market is hitting ultimate highs right now. These include a pause in tarriffs, the fact that inflation is cooling off, and interest rates have dropped significantly.

People have a little less fear which has allowed the market to bounce back.

But just because the market is up, doesn't mean it's done going up.

If you are asking yourself if its too late to invest - I believe there is still an upside, especially if you're smart about where you put your money.

Sectors I’m Watching

Tech (XLK) – Apple, Google, Amazon
Financials (XLF) – Banks thrive in most rate environments
Industrials (XLI) – Growing with consumer strength

What's the Difference:
ETF vs. Index Fund?

ETFs is a sector of the overall market, the S&P 500, that include a focused genre of companies. For example, the XLK ETF or Sector is full of stocks/companies that have their focus on technology - such as Apple or Google.

So if you are interested in investing in technology but aren't sure which exact company to invest in, you can always invest in the full sector, which includes all technology companies.

An Index Fund is a little more spread out and broad, it has a wide range and mix of different types of stocks.
