Opening a stock trading account can sometimes be overwhelming and confusing. There are a lot of questions and the language is usually foreign to a new investor. In this video, stock market Coach Jason Brown will walk you through how to open your first stock trading account with OptionsXpress.

OptionsXpress is the broker I use and recommend to my students for its easy to use platform, excellent customer service, and the ability to open an account with no funds if you want to get in and paper trade and play around with the tools.

Hi Byron, my thoughts on penny stocks and the trust about them is that they are stocks that are close to going out of business. I prefer people focus on buying the best stocks their money can buy versus buying the most stock someone can buy because it’s cheap. Also learning how to trade using Options allows you to control higher price and higher quality stocks.
