The Mindset & Grindset to Becoming a Millionaire
Recently, a family member asked me: "What keeps you going in the stock market?"
Because it's easy to stop and quit, especially when the market gets a little crazy.
Some start learning and never finish their course, while others give up the second they lose money.
Mindset is SO KEY to success.
Let me break down what I have found that helps you keep going to accomplishing your goals, even mine back in the day of becoming a millionaire.

Stage 1: "The Hate Stage"
This is the stage where I was charting 100 stocks a night, and I had a fire inside of me to keep going to learn about this industry.
I literally hated the financial situation my life was in.
I didn't like my neighborhood, where I lived, sharing just 1 car per our family, and just the lifestyle.
Of course I loved my mom and brother, but I wanted something better financially for them and myself.
That hate overpowered wanting to sleep and to keep me looking at stock charts.
I knew I had to keep going to get out of the situation, and the stock market could help me.
Others can develop vices, but I turned to the result and looking at the other side of life.
Stage 2: "I'm Comfortable"
This is the stage where I think most people get stuck in.
This is when your life is actually okay - you're doing okay financially working a full time job and your bills are getting paid, even if it's a little tight.
Maybe you're in an okay house or apartment.
The fire is gone because you look around and honestly it's not that bad.
It would be nice to have extra but you don't NEED it.
So to learn about the stock market, you may not be as motivated.
What kept me going in this stage is asking myself:
"Why not me?"
When I worked at Verizon, people would pull up in super nice cars to get their cell phone serviced and wouldn't think twice about the price.
And I thought, "Why can't I be like that? Why can't I have the super nice car?"
That's what can drive you, understanding you also are worth epic vacations instead of "okay" vacations.
Stage 3: "Competing and Giving Back"
Now I look at other stock market traders and see how I can compete and have my name in the business.
It drives me to always keep learning and keep making my business more efficient.
Now you're asking: "Do I have what it takes?"
That's a life-long journey. You want to study to become a master.
There's no time to quit! If you know this much now, how much more will you know in 40, 50 years?
That's what fuels me now.
And I also want to give back to communities.
I want to help others - like my students and friends and family - to get to a similar level.
What stage are you on?
No matter what stage you are on - you need to keep the fire alive and fuel your financial success.
