I remember my own hesitation when starting my channel on YouTube—uneasy about revealing my identity due to potential biases about my age and race. Likewise, Soo started her journey with feelings of intimidation and uncertainty, especially since she had no prior experience in finance or investments. Her story serves as a vivid reminder that courage doesn't mean the absence of fear but the determination to confront and move past it.

Soo’s story relatable to many. She started her journey into the stock market out of necessity, looking for a way to contribute to her family’s finances without sacrificing the time she valued with her children. Her approach was cautious—using free resources, attending webinars, and gradually investing small amounts she could afford to lose. This practical approach shows that starting small doesn’t mean thinking small.

There really are already so many pressures that women have to face and keeping up with it all can be quite challenging. Now take all that, and add entering into an industry with no experience that is mostly dominated by men. It can be very discouraging for some women and makes it so hard to close the gap between men and women in the stock market. Sometimes, it feels like the expectations are so much higher for a woman than a man when they do decide to enter into the industry.

Soo is changing the narrative. Despite the pressures, the challenges, and the expectations, she is doing it anyways! She's closing the gap. Thanks to Power Trades University, she has a safe space to do just that.
